Amitabha Foundation Recognized as a Role Model for Orphanage Homes in Johor Bahru

visit and recognition from Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia

We are deeply honoured to be recognised as a role model for orphanage homes in Johor Bahru by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM). This recognition is based on our commitment to upholding high standards in child welfare, education, cleanliness, comprehensive documentation, and a professional team, as outlined in JKM’s Standard Operating Procedures.

On July 20, 2022, we had the privilege of hosting Encik Mohd Fizhan Bin Mohd Soib and Puan Zalilanor Binti Abd Rashid, along with a team led by Encik Khairunizam Bin Ahamad from Rumah Perlindungan Kanak-Kanak TBQ Amal, Johor Bahru. The purpose of this formal visit, organised by JKM Johor Bahru, was to allow our home to share best practices and operational insights with Rumah Perlindungan Kanak-Kanak TBQ Amal.

During the session, we highlighted key aspects of our approach, including structured education planning, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, proper documentation, and continuous training for our caregivers and staff. By adhering to these essential criteria, we strive to create a nurturing and secure environment where children can grow, thrive, and build a promising future.

We were delighted to share our experiences and knowledge with the visiting team and sincerely hope that our insights will contribute to the betterment of other orphanage homes. Together, we can ensure that every child receives the care, support, and opportunities they deserve.

We are truly honoured to be selected by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, South Korea, for an International Communication Meeting and Fellowship Exchange with our home on July 11, 2023.
