We’re currently facing a shortage of functioning blood pressure monitors at our dialysis centre. It may seem like a small piece of equipment, but for our patients, it’s a critical part of every dialysis session. Before and after each treatment, blood pressure must be checked — not just as a routine, but as a safeguard.
If it’s too high, treatment may need to be delayed — extremely high readings can increase the risk of stroke, heart complications, or even sudden cardiac events.
If it’s too low, the patient could risk fainting — or worse.
Many of our monitors are worn out or no longer reliable. We’re hoping to replace some of them — nothing fancy, just dependable machines that can do the job safely.

Amitabha Foundation Dialysis Centre is now accepting new patients, with monthly subsidies available for the first 15 eligible applicants. These subsidies ease the financial burden of life-sustaining dialysis treatments for low-income patients.
However, the treatment voucher fund is running low, and the centre is seeking public support.
Your contribution could help a patient continue their treatment — and live another day.
