Origin – For a Group of Homeless Children
In the eyes of the Buddha, every child is like a lotus flower. With the right nurturing, they can rise from the mud and bloom into something beautiful. To provide a loving home for children who have lost their parents, Amitabha Foundation made a heartfelt vow to establish a Buddhist orphanage built on compassion and dedication.
The orphanage established by Amitabha Foundation is one of the first Buddhist orphanages in Malaysia to provide nutritious vegetarian meals and is the leading child adoption centre in Johor. It also emphasises education based on Buddhist teachings, nurturing outstanding individuals who will contribute positively to society in the future.

Children Care & Adore the Young
There are 98 children from different family backgrounds under the care of Amitabha Foundation Children Home, the number is increasing as a result of the social problems. Children receive formal schooling to paint a bright future for themselves.

Since 2010, Amitabha Foundation Children Home has provided care and support to over 90 children from diverse family backgrounds.
A Safe & Loving Home – Shelter, food, and emotional support.
Education & Personal Growth – Schooling, tuition, and life skills training.
Health & Well-being – Medical care, counselling, and proper nutrition.

Our numbers continue to grow as we address the increasing needs of our community. We are dedicated to ensuring that our children receive formal education, helping them to build bright and promising futures.
Our Aim is to provide a Buddhist Children Home with tender care and love within a nurturing family environment, focusing on the physical, spiritual, mental, and educational well-being of the children. Over the past 14 years, we have raised a total of 98 children from diverse backgrounds, helping them grow and thrive.
